Our residents honored D-Day by beginning the day watching the events on television. This was followed by a traditional lunch and an afternoon filled with classic songs performed by our talented Camille, who dressed up beautifully for the occasion. Battery-operated candles were distributed during one of the songs, “We’ll Meet Again,” allowing us to remember those we have lost.
Later, the residents savoured traditional fish and chips served in newspaper, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The day concluded with a homemade cake prepared by our chef.
